Patrice Brown, 33, is an elementary school teacher in Atlanta, USA. She recently told The New York Post that she was bullied and fired by her school principal for being “too sexy” for the class.

“The principal had problems with my tight dress and tight tights,” the teacher said. In 2016, photos of Patrice wearing tight skinny jeans and leopard print shoes in class became well known and were soon named #TeacherBae.

Patrice insisted that her attire conformed to the city’s “vague” teacher guidelines. However, six years later her manager fired her, claiming she “looked too sexy for the class”.

“I would always go to work and take a picture of myself in class, showing how much I love my job and looking pretty when I teach kids,” the teacher told the New York Post.

“Teachers are often bullied [por sua aparência] administration, parents, other teachers and students in higher grades. What teachers wear should not be the focus. The focus should be on children”, Patrice explained

The teacher said that although she regretted her dismissal at the beginning of June, she did not give up. He got a new job teaching elementary school kids at a different school.
