There were hours of research and tension in between low temperatures until they found him, walking the streets of the city in search of a safe haven.

First, the keepers tried to return him to the park by offering him food. But they convinced him with a coat, a jacket. It was very cold and they noticed that the animal was in pain.

The rescue had its emotional part, which went viral on the networks through a video. It was then that a keeper sneaked up on him and the chimpanzee he surprised her with an affectionate hug.

Then they both sat down have a chat. The footage also shows the final moment of the episode, when the caregiver dresses him in the yellow jacket and they hug again.

The return to the zoo is also picturesque. They just didn’t get him back in a truck or in a cage. Chichi surprised thousands of people who gave a bike ride that brought him back to the park.
