London – On the second day of the new English king, a video clip went viral showing Charles III being annoyed with a tray of pencils after he was caught on camera grimacing and pointing at an aide during the official self-declaring ceremony.

The truth is only this Saturday (10) St. James was the first to air in British TV history, allowing subjects to follow the royal wrath live.

The more humorous ones immediately left television to invade social media with their comments, some jokingly saying they were already annoyed by the signing of the king’s first official document. Check it out in the video.

Viral irritation broke out when King Charles signed his oath

Charles III was formally proclaimed as the new ruler of the country and was asked to sign in duplicate the document making the oath official.

As witnesses, Crown Prince William and Queen Consort Camilla were also invited to sign the same documents.

Until then, everything was going fine according to protocol. But serious documents were in large proportions and took up the entire table, so the pen tray and ink cups were placed between the signer’s chair and the official papers.

The atmosphere was unexpectedly tense when King Charles, the first to sign, sat down at the table and thought there wasn’t enough room to sign the two large documents in front of him – and the scene that went viral on the networks begins.

Royal grimace at King Charles’ advisers

After the king signs one of the oaths on his left, he must sign the other on his right.

The problem was that the ink containers and pen tray in front of the latter were blocking access to the document.

The king even put ink cups in front of the previously signed copy, but there was still a cup and pen between him and the document. That’s when he got angry.

At that moment, the subjects and the world grimace at their true face towards the aides outside the camera frame.

A moment later, the hand of one of the helpers seems to quickly remove the cause of the real irritation on the table.

With more space, the king completed the signing of the second document and stood up for his son, Prince William, to record his signature.

William demands back the tray that Charles ordered removed.

There was another problem when William sat down to do the task, as he didn’t have a pen.

The prince had to wave to the aides to bring the tray. But this time, without the father’s grimace, the aides reassured him.

Unlike Charles, both William and Camila had no trouble signing both copies of the document even with the pen tray on the table, giving more reason for real jokes.

A Twitter user asked who chose such a small table for such a big event. Another joked that the king did not leave the pen for his son to sign:

“I never thought I would identify with royalty until I saw King Charles III put that pen in his pocket,” he wrote, but the video clearly shows the monarch pulling his pen out of his pocket without touching the tray.

The truth has also sparked some criticism from the royals. One user asked why the king didn’t just say what he wanted, instead of acting so weirdly to the advisors:

“Why did Charles make such a strange gesture to have them take out the pencil tray? Couldn’t he have said, “Can you remove that please?”

The pen tray would once again attract the royal attention before the ceremony was over. The video, which went viral, caught King Charles III pointing at the same aide as he signed other documents.

Charles requested that the ink tanks and pen tray be removed before sitting down, which was done right away. Only this time without grimaces.
