Leaders of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar Queen II. Not Invited to Elizabeth’s Funeral

According to British media on Tuesday, the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar, Queen Elizabeth II. Iran will only be represented at the diplomatic level, while Elizabeth will not receive an invitation to her funeral, which will be attended by approximately 500 dignitaries.

The state funeral, to be held next Monday at Westminster Abbey in London, will be the “biggest international event” the country has hosted in decades, UK government sources said.

Also, the presidents of the USA, France and Germany, Joe Biden, Emmanuel Macron and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, respectively, will be some of the current officials.

Leaders from most Commonwealth countries are expected to arrive, including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese are also expected to attend the meeting.

There is no expectation that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose country is the leader of, will be at war with Russia since February 24.

British media reported that foreign leaders attending Monday’s event should travel by bus to Westminster Abbey instead of using private cars, this information has not been officially confirmed.

In addition, according to UK media, kings, queens, prime ministers and presidents must travel to the UK on commercial flights to avoid a crash at local airports. EFE
