A 33-year-old man was struck by lightning while playing PlayStation at his home in Oxfordshire, England. Aidan Rowan reported hearing a loud pop after a “heavy” feeling in his body.
She passed out on the couch and her husband Aaron, 32, took her to the hospital. The British, who shared the story on his Instagram account, had burns on his arms.
“I’m not one to post to gain sympathy, but I had to share this because of how crazy it was,” the actress said.
“There was a very loud thunder and I felt a very heavy feeling all over. Then I felt a burning heat in my right arm, where it is now. [cicatrizes de] burns. It took me about a minute to come to my senses, I was really, really confused. I went upstairs and asked my husband for a wet towel because I didn’t know what it was but my arm was on fire.”
Coincidentally, Aidan reported that at the time of the incident, he was playing a game whose goal was to control a missing cat during a storm.
Fortunately, only scars remained on his left arm and a star-shaped burn on his right hand. Doctors believed that lightning entered through the window.
Aidan said, “I think this is the last time I’ve played the furry cat game during a storm!” he joked.
