Cargo plane crossed runway in France and nearly crashed into lake

Earlier on Saturday, a cargo plane near Montpellier airport in the south of France passed the runway and its nose fell into a lake.

Three people were unharmed, according to a statement from local authorities. Montpellier airport has been closed with no reopening period and the investigation into the case continues.

Domestic flights to Paris and Easy Jet airline flights between London and the south of France were affected, according to the Daily Mail.
