A resident of Watford, England, gave birth twice on her own birthday. The unusual coincidence occurred for the second time on Tuesday (20), when 34-year-old Marie Barton gave birth to her youngest daughter, Kady.
According to the mother of four children, the first signs of labor were felt on Monday (19).
“I thought I’d have it in an hour and she’d be born on the 19th. But no, she waited until she was 20. I really couldn’t believe it,” Marie said. British tabloid Mirror.
The woman said her youngest daughter’s birth will be in the second week of October and she was “in a hurry” as she was born on the same day as the girl, and her 11-year-old sister, Lola, was born.
Marie said that although she had to share the birthday limelight with her younger sister and spend the day she turned 11 only with her family, she was happy that the youngest of her eldest daughter came home.
“He said it was the best birthday of his life,” the girl’s father, Joe Barton, told Mirror in an interview. He said that by chance he decided to buy a lottery ticket, but only had one number right.
“Looks like I’ve wasted all my luck, but that’s all I need. I have the little lottery,” he said.
