Despite his clumsy escape attempts, Floyd sustained a leg injury after the dramatic fall and was taken into custody by officers, police said. He was indicted on several counts: hitting cash, reckless danger, misconduct, false impersonation, two counts of trespassing, disorderly conduct and seat belt violation. His decision cost him.
Floyd, of Queens, was transferred to Woodhull Medical Center in stable conditions, authorities said. The officer injured during the car’s initial stop went to Brooklyn Hospital Center to be checked. He too is out of danger.
