According to an official press release, the Provincial Directorate for the Defense of the Rights of Consumers and Users has confirmed that through the social networks Facebook and Instagram announcements are published of alleged private companies offering savings plans for the purchase of cars at km 0, with the appearance of being official.

These notices include designations such as “National plan”, “Argentine Plans”, “Government Plan”, “Car Care Prices” and “ProCreAuto”.

It was indicated by the Buenos Aires government that “in some cases, with the aim of inducing deception, the image of President Alberto Fernández, public buildings of strong knowledge and even national symbols are also used”.

Warning and possible sanction

Production sources said that if Facebook Argentina did not grant such a leave, the provincial executive would have the power to fine the company.
