Working conditions worsen and 41% of employees look for another job

This trend occurs more in the metropolitan area of ​​Buenos Aires. According to a survey carried out by the human resources consultancy Randstad, in that area 48% of workers are actively looking for a new job, while Neuquén, with just 28%, is the province with the lowest rate of employment. intention to change jobs.

In between are Santa Fe (44%), Mendoza (39%) and Córdoba (35%), according to the online survey of more than 3,550 people.

Analyzing the factors that mobilize Argentines to face the active search for change in their professional life, 45% agree that the main reason is improve working conditions.

The other arguments for giving up the current job in search of another are i personal desire for change (18%) and related ambitions career development (17%).

Opening the analysis by province, we see that the neuquines (51%) are the Argentine workers most interested in making a change to improve their working conditions.

At the other extreme, mendoza shows the lowest value of workers interested in improving their working conditions (36%) and the smallest gap between the three main factors indicated as most important by workers to cope with a job change.

Andrea Ávila, CEO of Randstad for Argentina and Uruguay, explains that “globally, the pandemic has left people with a feeling of greater clarity about their personal and work goals. This reconsideration of what people want for his own life, has focused primarily on achievement a better balance between personal and professional life. “Beyond the wage aspirations that they are always presenttoday people, and especially the younger ones, are inclined to look for a job with a purpose, in line with their values ​​and lifestyle ”, says Ávila.

The Randstad study also investigates the degree of willingness of Argentine workers to a possible transfer for work. In this regard, 73% of those consulted at national level stated that I would work in another city if this meant an improvement in their quality of life.

In the same sense, when asked about the possibility of moving abroad, the majority 73% of respondents nationwide indicated that they would be willing to move abroad for work. And 93% would be 100% willing to work from Argentina abroad remotely.
