From the Ministry of Economy they clarified on Thursday which is not a price freezeyes but of “a voluntary agreement between the state, large consumer companies, wholesalers and supermarkets”.

The new program will include the 453 items of the Care Prices plan, renewed in early October.

The Fair Prices application will be available for mobile phones with Android and iOS systems and a messaging service to be used virtually. About a hundred companies participate in the agreement, representing 86% of mass consumption in the country and including Molinos, Coca Cola, Unilever, Quilmes, Mastellone, AGD, Ledesma and Las Marías, among others. “In addition, supermarkets will be able to supply own brand products,” it was indicated.
