The Workers’ Union, through the Secretary General Armando Cavalieri, communicated that more than 23,000 school material kits have already been delivered free of charge to its affiliates, as part of the campaign called “Back to School”, carried out by the Social Assistance Secretariat, the same SEC.
The initiative, which began on 30 January and will last until next Friday 17 March, is aimed at all those enrolled who are undertaking their initial studies in primary, secondary, tertiary and university schools, and also at those who are part of the training courses which are dictated by the Secretary of Culture of the corporation.
For his part, Armando Cavalieri highlighted that “it is a source of pride to be able to support the shareholder in this circumstance and contribute to his training process”, adding that “it is a measure that grows from year to year and is part of the initiatives that ensure that the SEC, through the various services provided, assists each affiliate throughout his life”.
