Sergio Massa has announced new measures for drought-affected producers

These are those deadlines that would have been set between February 1, 2023 and the end date of the period of validity of the aforementioned state of emergency.

On the other hand, it will be IRPEF deduction for forced sale of properties so that producers can deduct 100% of the benefits deriving from the forced sale of cattle, sheep, goats or pigs from the income tax balance.

Similarly, the official noted that a 48 installment payment plan regularize debts with Afip, so that producers can access existing financing lines in the context of the agricultural emergency.

The number of installments will depend on conditions of equity for the normalization of debts, taking into account the origin and type of debt to be canceled and the assessment of the degree of fulfillment of one’s formal and material obligations.
