The national government updated this Tuesday the monthly amount of Progress Scholarships 2023the economic aid that is given to young people trying to complete their studies.
The new value was made official through the Resolution 909/2023published in the latest edition of Official Bulletin and with the signature of the Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyk.
As detailed in article 1, “the monthly amount of the Line ‘Supplement of compulsory schooling’, ‘Promotion of higher education’, ‘Nursing’ and ‘Progressive jobs’ in 12,780 pesos”.
The price update will begin to be valid from the quota corresponding to the month of April 2023.
The Progresar program is paid throughout the year, in 12 installments. 80% is charged monthly and the remaining 20% when it is proven that one was a regular student.
Progresar scholarships 2023: the requirements
- work progress: be native Argentinian; naturalized or alien, with legal residence of two (2) years in the country and with identity document; and be between the ages of 18 and 24. It extends up to 35 years for people with children under the age of 18 belonging to single parents and up to 40 years for people who do not have a regular job. No age limit for trans, members of indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees. The sum of the young person’s income must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Living and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
- Progress required: be native Argentinian; naturalized or alien, with legal residence of two (2) years in the country and with identity document; be a regular student of an educational institution; be between 16 and 24 years of age. It extends up to 35 years to people with children under the age of 18 belonging to single-parent families; No age restrictions for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees. The income of the young person and his family nucleus must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
- progress to a higher level: be native Argentinian; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence for five (5) years in the country and identity document. Be a regular student of an educational institution. Be between the ages of 17 and 24. Advanced career students, up to thirty (30) years of age. Nursing students without age limits. It extends up to the age of 35 to people with dependent children under the age of 18 belonging to single-parent households. No age restrictions for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees. The income of the young person and his family nucleus must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
- Nursing progress: be native or naturalized Argentines or foreigners, with five (5) years legal residence in the country and DNI. Be 17 years of age at the closing of the respective call, with no age limit. The income of the young person and his family nucleus must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM). Be a mid-level graduate and owe no subject at the time of registration.
