The authorities of the Circle of Corporate Communication Directors have been renewed

Alejandra Martínez, Director of Communications at Enel Argentina, is the new president of Dircom.

The Circle of Communication Directors changed its authorities and Alexandra Martinez, Director of Communications at Enel Argentina, was elected as the new president of the entity that brings together those responsible for corporate communications from some of the largest companies in the country. Martínez replaced Valeria Abadi, Director of Marketing and Communications for LATAM at Globant, who became Vice President.

According to Circle, Martínez is a journalist and has a Master’s degree in Communication Management with organizations, Universidad Austral. He worked 17 years as a journalist and since 2000 he has worked at Edesur and then at Enel Argentina.

“It is an honor for me to lead Circle DIRCOMS, a space that brings together the highest reference of Institutional Communications and Public Affairs in our country. We will have a tremendous challenge to continue all that has been done in recent years, which is so much. It is a pleasure to have a Board of Directors made up of colleagues who have already worked on the previous Commission, which will give us continuity, and now new Directors are joining the Commission which brings great enthusiasm to undertake new projects. ”, Said Martínez.

The rest of the new Board of Directors consists of Silvina Seiguer (Kimberly-Clark), Lucas González (Paramount), Francisco Do Pico (Peñaflor Group), Matías Szapiro (ExxonMobil), Lucía Ginzo (Flybondi), Angie Stelzer (Volkswagen) , Mariana Petrina (L’Oreal), Valeria Bazzi (Mercado Libre), María Poplawski (AstraZeneca), Daniel Martini (Adigas), Christian Silvieri (Natura), José Montaldo (Wehaus), Verónica Zampa (Andreani) and Paola Podestá (IBM ).

The Circle of Dircoms of Argentina is a civil association founded in 2002 composed of leaders of corporate communications, institutional relations and public and government affairs of large private and public companies in the country. Its role is to promote and appreciate Dircom’s figure as a key member of the companies ’Executive Committee.
