It looks like autumn has finally arrived in Buenos Aires. Then come the colder months of the year. And in winter, the low temperature invites you to take shelter and stay at home watching a movie or series.
In this framework, Netflix announced this afternoon all the movies it plans to release from May to the early days of September, along with some new national productions. He also announced two strong titles that landed in the second half of 2022.
In the extensive winter catalog, next month Argentina’s documentary stands out The photographer and the postmanabout the crime of José Luis Cabezas that shocked the country in the summer of 1997.
The Crime of Cabezas, Netflix’s new documentary film
The film, directed by Alejandro Hartmann –he co-wrote the script with Tatiana Mereñuk and Gabriel Bobillo-, responds to a case that resulted in the revelation of a mafia network between political and economic powers.
Another national premiere is coming in mid -June. Is about The wrath of Godwith Juan Minujín, Diego Peretti and Macarena Achaga -son of Luis Miguel in the Netflix series-, Sebastián Schindel’s new thriller (“Crimes in the Family”) adapted from Guillermo Martínez’s novel.
One of the premieres of the year is The Gray Man, coming in the third week of July. Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas star in this action legend and secret agents who manage Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of the latest Avengers.

In August, the highlight of the catalog was Me Time, a comedy starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg from My Girlfriend Polly director John Hamburg.
To close the list, the red N platform has announced two films from River Plate that will be coming in the second half of the year but there is no specific release date yet.
One is Argentinian Pipa, Luisana Lopilato’s new film about the story of police agent Manuela “Pipa” Pelari – a character created by Florencia Etcheves – who has already starred in the films Perdida and La Corazonada.
