From next month, employees working in private homes will be hired a 6% increase as part of the agreement concluded with the National Commission of Work in Private Houses for the joint 2022-2023.

As established in Resolution 2/2022published this Friday in the Official Gazette, the agreement provides an increase of 9% for May to collect in June.

In the recitals it was pointed out that at the meetings held between March 31 and April 7, 2022, the sectoral representations of workers, employers and the Government that make up the commission took on the commitment to agree on the wage increase. that would be effective in three installments distributed as follows:

a) A non-aggregate 6% of the minimum wage established by CNTCP Resolution No. 3/20, which will take effect beginning April 2022.

b) 9% from the month of May 2022, calculated on the minimum wage previously established for the month of April 2022.

c) 15% of the minimum wage established for the month of May 2022, in one installment, to be paid in the month of June 2022, with a review clause for the month of August, after the meeting of the Board. National Minimum, Vital and Mobile Wage.

Also, the measure provides additional per undesirable area, equal to 30% of the minimum wage established for each category. This benefit is for workers from the provinces of La Pampa, the Patagones Party of the Province of Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.

How about the new salary scale?

According to the new procedure, the minimum monthly salary for staff performing general tasks (cleaning, maintenance and cooking, among others) will remain in April at $ 35,514.5 with retreat ($ 289 an hour) and at $ 39,492 with bed inside ($ 311.5 an hour).

For the “first category”, i.e., supervisors who are willing to interact and control the activities carried out by two or more people in their retirement management, the monthly salary will be $ 43,568, while the amount per hour remains at $ 349. While for those who live in the workplace, the credit goes to $ 48,530 and the hourly amount is set at $ 382.

Regarding the “second category” (personnel for specific tasks, such as cooks hired exclusively for such work), the monthly salary is between $ 40,477 (including retirement) and $ 45,058 (without retirement).
