Justin Simien of “Dear White People” will direct the film
Walt Disney World will win a new feature film inspired by one of its attractions: the Haunted Mansion was officially produced on Thursday (28), after the release of its official logo at CinemaCon.
The announcement was made through the Disney Parks blog, which also released the movie’s theatrical release date: March 10, 2023.

Based on the eponymous attraction, one of the oldest in the parks, the film will feature a cast with names such as LaKeith Stanfield (“Judas and the Black Messiah”), Tiffany Haddish (“Bad Trip”), Owen Wilson (“Loki”), Danny DeVito (“Batman Returns”), Rosario Dawson (“The Mandalorian”) and Chase Dillon (“The Underground Railroad”).
The film will be directed by Justin Simienfrom “Cara Gente Branca” and will be produced by the same producers of “Aladdin”, Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich.
