THE main business chambers of the country were called this Friday at noon at the Pink Houseto keep a meeting with president Javier Milei. These are the entities that bring together industry, construction, commerce, agriculture, banking and the stock market.
The Chamber of Construction, the Chamber of Commerce, the Industrial Union, the Stock Exchange, the Rural Society and the Association of Banks participate in the meeting.
While it has not transcended the agenda, there are concerns that cut across all sectors, such as inflation, opening of imports of food, the future of the DNU after the setback in the Senate, the fiscal issues of the new draft Law on the Bases, labor reform or whether or not there will be monetarisation.
Another key question is the dollar and its future evolution. A vision on this topic was given on Thursday by Minister Luis Caputo at the lunch of Cicyp, the body in which many G6 leaders participate.
“Do not be anxious, but we will not devalue. We must stabilize, then we will grow and it will be time to lower taxes”, the head of Economy told the entrepreneurs and CEOs of companies who came to listen to him.
And this is how he marked the field: “First of all we will stabilize, we will lower inflation, we will rebuild the balance of the Central Bank, we will get out of the trap and start the growth path and when we grow, taxes will be lowered”.
