Contrary to what is happening in the 0 km car market, sales of new motorcycles are going through a period of full growth. In fact, the the dealerships have had 19 consecutive months of improvement and short -term expectations indicate a positive trend to proceed.

The last time the market crashed was in August 2020, with 1,340 fewer units patented than in the same month last year. Since then, the balances have always been favorable, according to statistics from the National Directorate of Automotive Property Registries (Dnrpa),

The start of the year is also encouraging. In the first quarter, motorcycle dealers in Argentina sold 117,722 units, 30% more than in the first three months of last year.

Prices, stocks and credits

0 km cars and motorcycles are not direct competitors, but drawing a parallel between one market and another allows us to understand why is it so bad for the first and good for the last?

An important point is the prices. Cars have had a very strong increase in the past year.
