Mercedes Marcó del Pont, the director of AFIP, got a ruling in favor of the organization.
This was announced today by the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP). the court suspended the precautionary measure ordered by the Federal Administrative Court for litigation no. 12 in relation to the expiry of the affidavits of the tax on wealth and personal income.
The decision was taken after the agency’s appeal filed Monday. Like this, the deadlines set by the regulation are in forceaccording to the body led by Mercedes Marcó del Pont.
AFIP had challenged a precautionary measure that had been obtained by the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires.
At the end of last week, in a new chapter of the struggle between the Accountants represented by the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the city of Buenos Aires and the AFIP, the Litigation Administrative Court 12 ratified with a second precautionary measure, the postponement of deadlines for the presentation of sworn declarations and the payment of taxes on income, personal property and coupons.
The accountants based the extension request on the fact that the requests to upload the affidavits and determine the tax to be paid – if applicable – malfunctioning since they have been uploaded to the AFIP website. And for this reason it has become impossible to work properly.
The period provided for in the protection took place from 23 to 27 June, the original presentation date, to 12 July.
Before the second precautionary measure, AFIP had warned that the original terms had been maintained.
Last week, Judge Macarena Marra Giménez issued a precautionary measure in response to a request from the CABA’s Professional Council, in which she was asked to order AFIP to suspend tax deadlines until July 12. The magistrate then decided a second order accepting the injunction to the body representing professionals.
At that time, AFIP had warned in a note that the provision was only to the advantage of CABA’s accountants, that “in the face of the injunction issued by a 1st degree court, AFIP reiterates that the deadlines for taxes on personal assets and Earnings forecasts are in effect for June 23, 24 and 27.
