the already classic ranking of the best companies to work for had its Latin American chapter, which was attended by 1.5 million employees from 20 countries with their opinion.

In the final list, which is divided into three categories of companies based on their size, they appear 19 national organizations or organizations with activities in our country.

To enter this ranking, prepared by the consultancy Great Place to Work, companies first had to appear in one or more of the Best Places to Work 2021 or 2022 lists in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Central America and the Caribbean, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

The occupation of a place in the local rankings depends on the results of a survey on the working environment that the consultancy company provides to the companies that want to measure themselves: from there they get 70% of the final score. The other 30% comes from a “cultural audit” carried out by Great Place to Work based on the presentation made by their organizations human resource practices.

To compose the Latin American list, the scores of all the companies classified in the local lists were compared (in the case of multinationals, each of the countries in which they were listed is taken into account). Argentina was present, through 11 multinationals, 4 large companies and 4 SMEs, in the ranking of the 125 best in the region.

“Of all the aspects that we detected at the regional level (leadership, culture, work well-being, etc.), the one that showed the greatest weight among the collaborators was confidence“, says Carlos Alustiza, CEO of Great Place to Work Argentina.

This was reflected “in the difference that classified companies showed compared to the rest of the market in variables such as credibility, respect, equanimity, camaraderie and pride,” he adds.

multinationals

Among the multinationals (companies with more than 1,000 employees and classified in more than 3 countries), there are 11 companies in our country that have managed to enter a final list of 25: DHL Express (1st place)AT&T (4th place), Mercado Libre (6th), Teleperformance (8th), AES (11th), Hilton (12th), EY (13th), Dell Technologies (14th), Oracle (17th) , Globant (18th) and SAP (22nd).
