Based on the ministerial restructuring at the beginning of the month, with the Administrative Resolution 826/2022 published today in the Official Gazette, the National Government ordered a budget cut of 6 ministries totaling $ 210,000 million and an increase in spending by $ 82,000 million. The net fiscal bilge is $ 128,000 million.

The provision has the signature of Juan Manzur, Chief of Staff and Sergio Massa, Ministry of Economy.

The items that are cut are largely linked to credits linked to capital account expenses for transfers to Provinces and Municipalities, while expenses for “social assistance” and “economic” increase.

The Ministry of Productive Development has a cut of $ 70,000 million, of which $ 50,000 million corresponds to a smaller entry for the National Fund for Productive Development (FONDEP), followed by the Ministry of Spatial Development and Habitat with a reduction of $ 50,000 million (Argentine Credit Program Trust Fund item) for $ 50,000 million.

Also in education, the reduction is $ 50,000 million and includes the Connect Equality program ($ -30,000 million), strengthening of daycare centers (-15,000,000 dollars) and infrastructure and equipment (-5,000 million dollars).

The Ministry of Health has a $ 10,000 million cut in the “Prevention and Control of Communicable and Immune Preventable Diseases” program.

The Ministry of Transportation has an adjustment of 10,000 million dollarswhere the Transfers to Municipal Administrations program stands out with -4,076 million.

The Ministry of Public Works, with a cut of 20,000 million dollars, highlights the items “Transfers to provincial and municipal bodies to finance capital expenditure (-4,000,000,000 dollars) and others – 5,000 million for transfers to administrations provincial in the item “Water resources”.

For social welfare and economic services assistance, the entries increased by $ 82,000 million.
