Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced on Wednesday that a reflection will be held on the possible construction of “new generation nuclear reactors.”
The Japanese government intends to give a strong boost to the reactivation of nuclear energy in the country, a weakened and controversial sector since the Fukushima disaster in 2011 but which is back in fashion in the face of strong global energy tensions.
