The Central Bank reported that, following the national holiday established by President Alberto Fernández, This Friday there will be no banking or foreign exchange activities.
The entity led by Miguel Pesce recalled this bank branches across the country will not open the doors to serve the public for the holidays, decided by the executive branch after a man pointed a gun at Vice President Cristina Kirchner at the entrance to her home.
Electronic channels, such as Home bankingmobile banking and ATMs, it will work as usual on holidays, added the Central Bank.
Through these electronic channels it is possible to make various payments, such as instant transfers, wire transfers, QR codes for virtual wallets or banking applications, debit cards and credit cards.
For its part, the monetary entity has insured it will ensure availability banknotes to meet the needs of society.
Users can also withdraw cash from merchants such as Farmacity, Carrefour, YPF, Puente and other businesses that have agreements with banks.
When the banks are closed there will be no foreign exchange transactionsthe official dollar will not be quoted nor will it be possible to carry out trading operations.
