The Argentine Chamber of Construction is holding its Annual Convention today. They will participate in the meeting Alberto Fernandezministers and the special participation of Dan Restrepo, political strategist and advisor to former US President Barack Obama, among others.
Entrepreneurs, government authorities, important national and international speakers and figures from the entire social arc will meet to discuss news of the construction sector and reflect on the strategies to achieve the common development goals of the country. Gustavo Weiss, president of the Chamber, will formally open the conference together with Gerardo Martínez, general secretary of UOCRA.
During the conference they will meet the group of six which brings together the main entrepreneurial realities. “The annual convention is the most important event of the year for our industry,” said Weiss.
The meeting will also be attended by the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur, the Ministers Jorge Ferraresi (Land Development and Habitat) and Gabriel Katopodis (Public Works), and the managers of the areas that build infrastructure, who will dialogue with the Chamber authorities on related issues sustainable territorial development, water and sanitation, connectivity and the importance of public investments for productive development.
Dan Restrepo, political strategist and advisor to former US President Barack Obama, will give a presentation of the new global scenario, as well as the challenges and opportunities it entails for Latin America.
In addition, Eduardo Elsztain, will speak on private investment in construction. Weiss, Daniel Funes de Rioja (Argentine Industrial Union), Adelmo Gabbi (Buenos Aires Stock Exchange), Mario Grinman (Chamber of Commerce and Services), Nicolás Pino (Rural Society), Javier Bolzico (ADEBA) will comment on the progress of the Council of the Infrastructure Policies of the business sector.
On the trade union side, Héctor Daer, of the CGT, and Gerardo Martíne will do it. Malena Galmarini, head of AySA will also participate.
