The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will extend a credit line and issue loans already agreed but blocked by some disagreements with the government. The information emerged after the meeting between Sergio Massa, Minister of Economy, with the head of the IDB, Mauricio Claver Carone. After that meeting, Economy announced that a first loan of 500 million dollars will arrive in Argentina this month and that another 700 million dollars will be added to that amount, which will arrive in the country by the end of the year.
In turn, the government announced that the Bank is planning to release an additional $ 1,933 million by the end of the year and that approximately $ 1,800 million in new loans is expected to arrive in the country in 2023.
