Meredith Gray, as part of that group, struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, most notably the hospital’s former head of surgery, Richard Webber.
The matter goes back in time: Webber and Meredith’s mother had a personal relationship when the protagonist of this medical fiction was very young.
