Winner of a Golden Globe and nominee for multiple awards emmy, the medical drama centers on a group of doctors at a Seattle hospital, including many who began their careers at the facility as interns. Meredith Gray, as part of that group, struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, most notably the hospital’s former head of surgery, Richard Webber.

The matter goes back in time: Webber and Meredith’s mother had a personal relationship when the protagonist of this medical fiction was very young.
