Daddy Yankee sang his song “Somos de calle” this Saturday evening, in the first of two presentations he will perform at the court of Vélez, when from the audience they began to point towards the ceiling of the stage. Over there a small flame was starting to come to life, so the Puerto Rican artist doing his farewell tour called “The Last Return” had to temporarily interrupt the concert.

Look out, there’s a fire up there. Thanks to my people for the warning. Be careful there, my people, your safety above all. Master, is it resolving? A round of applause for these people who are solving this “, said the singer to a person who, supported by the structure, approached where the fire could be seen.

The surprising thing is that, according to the numerous videos that have circulated on social networks, that man did not carry, at least on his first attempt, any element to contain the incipient flames. What tried to do was stop him from blowing.

In fact, the popular reggaeton singer, warned of the situation by the public, questions his speed for wanting to collaborate without taking safety precautions. “Little brother, please don’t do this, secure your life. Brother, come on down, never risk your life again“, the singer told him, looking upwards.

He then addressed the crowd that filled the José Amalfitani stadium and waited, with surprise and uncertainty, for the situation to be resolved. “Thank you so much for your patience, these are things that happen live. This concert will continue. The main thing is that you look good and have fun. We are responsible here, ”Daddy Yankee warned.

In another video, a person secured with ropes is seen reaching the place where the small flames were. “Let’s give a round of applause to these people who are doing their best,” encouraged the artist, who responded with whistles of approval and applause.

On his Instagram account, after the show, Daddy Yankee wrote: “ARGENTINA we may never run out of gas. Thank you for joining me on this last lap. See you tomorrow. I love you.” It is that this Sunday, in his final farewell to our country, he will appear again in Liniers.

Is that, despite that little setback, the networks also reflected the power of the show delivered by the award-winning artist, reviewing the most emblematic pieces of his lineup.
