This Tuesday the prizes of the Argentine Song Festival will be delivered to the Mercedes Sosa Foundation

The first edition of the Argentine Song Festival. This Tuesday is the fourth.

With the aim of continuing to develop and enliven popular music, the Argentine Song Festival confirmed the 2021 Awards ceremony at the Mercedes Sosa Foundation in Buenos Aires, this Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00 pm at Humberto Primo 378.

The song will also be offered on the occasion A little more, composed by Dany Vilá and Willy Poch, made available to Red Solidaria and perform by Rocio Araujo and Maxi Pachecoyaimed at raising awareness about the serious situation of street children, their problems with access to health and education.

The prizes for the 2021 call are:

  • Prize money and Best Song by SADAIC Uranus in Taurusby Sergio Sturfeighen and Luis Navarro
  • AADI prize money and Best Performer to Daniel Calabrese for I’m Harlequinby Gustavo Andonian
  • All finalist artists of the 2022 edition will be part of the Festival’s official album, produced in collaboration with FaroLatino, which is also responsible for its digital distribution.

Also, the launch of the 2022 Call of the Festival will be announced this Tuesday.

Jury and luxurious organization

With the support of SADAIC, AADI, SADEM and INAMU, the jury team is comprised of both these institutions along with renowned national musicians.

The organization has music direction by Dany Vilá (musician and arranger for Sandro, Valeria Lynch, Estela Raval and Patricia Sosa, and Grammy Award winner), Alejandro Pont Lezica (music producer and director of Radio Nacional), Alberto Pieragostini (producer and event organizer) and Willy Poch (musician, composer and producer with international experience).

The Argentine Song Festival in its fourth edition, was born from the dream of producers, artists and industry workers to generate real recognition for the work of all Argentine authors, composers and performers and, in this way, collaborate on national artistic-cultural promotion in local and international projection, as well as encourage the development and promotion of famous Argentine music authors, rewarding creators and performers of songs in all their styles.
