the legendary musician darren Henleybetter known by his stage name DH danger, died yesterday at his home in Los Angeles after an accident that caused him severe trauma. The news became official on Saturday.
DH Peligro was the drummer of the legendary hardcore punk band kennedy deadfrom February 1981 until its dissolution in December 1986. He was the second drummer of the group, after the departure of the original member, Ted.
It also took a fleeting step forward Hot peppersin 1988. Other bands he joined were Nailbomb, Feederz, SSI and Lock Up, Tom Morello’s first band.

DH Danger appears on the albums Plastic surgery disasters, Frankenchrist Y Bedtime for democracyas well as the EP We believe in God and the completed Give me comfort or give me death.
In 2001, Peligro joined Dead Kennedys, but without their former leader and singer Jello Biafra, following a civil complaint accusing him of withholding royalties and privileges in the group’s song licenses.

He also played briefly with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with whom he has not recorded any albums. He came in as a replacement for Jack Irons. He was a friend of the band and even had a band in the house with Anthony Kiedis and Flea.
Although he didn’t record, he collaborated on songwriting for his fourth album, Breast milk. He was fired for his drug and alcohol addiction. As Flea recounted years later, having to fire him was one of the most difficult moments in the history of the band.
He was replaced by Chad Smith, who is still the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers today.
A gang called Danger
DH Peligro was the lead singer of his band called Peligro and released three albums: Danger (in 1995 under the label Biafra Alternativa Tentacles, but withdrawn from the catalog in 2001), Welcome to America Y Sum of our environmentwhich won the Best Album of the Year award at the Independent Music Awards in the United States.
Their sound is known for being an eclectic mix of punk, reggae, funk and heavy metal. DH Peligro has also collaborated with several bands such as Reverend Jones and the Cool Aid Choir and Al Sharpton’s Hair and the Hellions.
In 1984 he recorded a punk rock version of the song Purple haze by Jimi Hendrix, which was nominated for a Grammy Award.
