While he continues to work on the project of bringing his successful series to the cinema simulators, Damian Szifron received great news.
His first English-language film was acquired by Vertical Entertainment for US distribution. Misanthropeas it’s titled, it then marks the Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director’s English-language debut for wild tales. Continuing the company’s expansion, Vertical announced that it will launch the film exclusively in theaters during the first half of 2023.
Szifron co-wrote the script with Jonathan Wakeham and plays Emmy nominee Shailene Woodley (Little big lies, the offsprings), Ben Mendelsohn (a rogue, Ready player onethe Series Blood lines) and Jovan Adepo (Babylon, Guardians).
