Disney+ announced this Tuesday (19) that the actress Suzana Pires (“Loucas para Casar”) will be part of the cast of “A Magia de Aruna”, his new Brazilian original series, which is scheduled to premiere in 2023 on the platform of streaming.

The series presents a gray Rio de Janeiro where Mima lives (Jamilly Mariano), a teenager who tries to hide her strange power of hyperempathy in a world apart from magic that is experiencing a solar crisis.

However, the challenge of an important competition will cause Mima to lose control of this mysterious power and, as she walks away from her companions, she will reveal a spell performed 300 years ago, awakening three Guardian Witches.

Suzana Pires will be Bruma, a powerful and cold villain who benefits from the twilight state of the city where they live by selling the products of the company of which he is CEO. They are vitamin products to balance the climatic effects on people’s health.
