The romantic scene happened in the middle of the first Luna Park of Thunder: sang the hit mamichula with his girlfriend Nicki Nicole and finally hugged and kissed her before more than 10 thousand fans who applauded wildly.
Was an intense and certainly unforgettable night for the rapper born and raised in La Boca. She sang, skipped and even improvised dance moves for an hour and a half, in front of a full stage she also sang, skipped and improvised dance moves. It was a party and everything indicates that it will repeat itself with the same fury this Friday and Saturday.
Guests and a fantastic environment
The large stage at the Luna Park was put to good use with a great set where about thirteen musicians lined up from one end of the stage to the other. Also, at each end was a stage for guests and Thunder with their rappers KM 420 Y Peter Danger (his father).
Behind the musicians was a veritable wall of lights, as if they were Marshalls at a rock concert. And upstairs were three video screens that could go up and down, or even split or merge to form a giant screen.
The setting was completed with a long walkway that led through the people of the countryside.
The show has also featured several high-end guests, not just Nicki Nicole. she was also Dante Spinetta to produce Sudakafrom his recent album Sweet tableand the rock duo from La Plata rare fishwho created their theme Hemlock, whose remix was attended by Trueno. And towards the end it was added Stuart for a stretch of freestyle.
rap with message
One of the characteristics of Trueno’s music is that it is not a rap veering towards a more fleeting pop, but rather ideologically it is closer to rock’s dose of denunciation and protest.
Then into the show there was a very explicit section against dictatorship and police repression. First came Thunder’s speech, after the audience celebrated the good weather of Bleeding with the classic song of “He who doesn’t jump is an Englishman”.
Then he said, “I like that they’re Argentinian; they’re Latin American. It’s an honor for me to play this record in Argentina because I did it for this country. I’m not one of those people who forget. They tried to destroy this country. There were 8000 (sic) missing in Argentina. It was a shit time for us, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, the Caribbean. All Latin Americans live the same reality, we suffer the same injustices”.
And he added: “We are the future proud that the new generations leave out classism, racism, divisions, each with their own sexual orientation, their own way of being as everyone wants. 30 thousand (sic) missingI shit on Videla and Massera”.
He immediately took off the diver and an all over garment stamped with the phrase “Never Again” was visible.. General applause.
After a large release of tug of earth, three alleged policemen took him from the stage to the dressing room, where they beat him, as seen on a giant screen. But Trueno managed to escape and returned to the stage, where he did his own version Fuck the police of NWA, which culminated in a divinerg to the public.
A complete repertoire
In the beginning, when he sang in a flak jacket as the first outfit of the night, Trueno composed songs from his second album Right or wrongWhat Hoop hoop, Buenos Aires on fire, Panama, good or bad, just for you. And from the first he also made Daring.
After the theme with Dante he did it I got it (with “a Friend from Atlanta”, JID playing from one track) and ended with a quote from the old hit abc of the Jackson Five and had fun with a choreography together with Peligro and KM420.
After the applause of “Olé, ole, ole, True-no, True-no!”, the host sat down in a chair at the end of the runway and talked about his dreams and his neighborhood. “You have to spread your wings and take the neighborhood around the world,” he said. he immediately did hood.
After Nicki’s appearance, he made reggaeton songs like A step Y We go out at nightwith a new change of clothes, including piluso, and with a greeting to Tiago PZK, who could not be present because he was on tour.
Follows the rock and electronic touch of Peces Raros cucumemfrom behind the screens, old Gorillaz style, and then the freestyle moment.
In Argentina (unfortunately without Nathy Peluso) asked everyone to raise their hands and displayed a flag made with all the Latin American flags.
Before closing (there were no encores) he said “First comes the protest and then the celebration. For people who like hip hop, the last song is, in homage to real rap, that you’ve turned into a Argentine anthem”. Obviously the argument was dance crypt., the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable night for him and the audience.
