The Théâtre du Rideau Vert (TRV) announced programming for its 2022-2023 season on Tuesday. Vincent-Guillaume Otis, Macha Limonchik, as well as Mylène Mackay and Émile Schneider, will tread the boards of this Montreal theater, whose artistic direction is still provided by Denise Filiatrault, who will soon be celebrating her 91st Birthday.
This is the bedroom The child which will begin TRV’s 2022-2023 theatrical season on September 27. It will mark the return of actor Vincent-Guillaume Otis to the theater after six years of dedication District 31which left him too little time to get on the boards.
Written by French playwright and writer Florian Zeller, The child focuses on the illness experienced in adolescence. This part is part of a trilogy on family relationships that also consists of The mother at The fatheradapted into a double Oscar -winning film – Ama – by Florian Zeller with Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman in lead roles.
2022 revised and corrected
At the end of November, Benoît Paquette and Marc St-Martin will resume service for the traditional humorous review of the year 2022 revised and corrected, re -directed by Natalie Lecompte. Monika Pilon and Marie-Ève Sansfaçon will join the two actors on stage.

In 2017, American author Lucas Hnath thought of the sequelDoll house, written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. Sa A dollhouse, part 2Nora, played by Macha Limonchik, returns 15 years later and finds herself faced with the consequences of her departure.
Olivier Morin as Edmond Rostand
In March, creating Quebec Pif-Glossy will be shown to the public for the first time. Olivier Morin, Élodie Grenier, Roger La Rue, Jean-François Pronovost, Marie-Hélène Thibault and Gabriel Sabourin will play in this play envisioned of the latter.

This program will end with Albertine in Five Times – The Operathis first opera in the joual set to the music of Catherine Major and derived from the eponymous play by Michel Tremblay.
Nathalie Deschamps will perform Florence Bourget, Chantal Dionne, Chantal Lambert, Marianne Lambert, Monique Pagé, Catherine St-Arnaud in this opera, the first version of which was shown on TRV in the spring of 2021. The opera public will discover it throughout its from 7 to September 10.
Also note that part The real world?written by Michel Tremblay and presented on TRV about a year ago, will travel to approximately twenty cities in Quebec during the winter of 2023.
TRV also announced that it will offer some specific performances with subtitles in French or English, or interpreted in Quebec sign language or offered in theatrical description.
