Although Andy Kusnetzoff looked forward to the date of the last match of the World Cup in Qatar 2022, many were surprised to see that, against all odds, the pilot of street dogs (Urbana Play) did not travel to the Middle Eastern country and lost its radio show.
It is that the journalist had declared that he wanted to go to Doha to encourage the Argentine national team, but the “disappearance” has aroused concern in his followers.
On Monday, after the triumph of Lionel Scaloni’s team, Andy clarified the doubts of his listeners and explained why he didn’t travel.
“I’ll tell you a story Why didn’t I go to the World Cup final?. A story that begins three years ago, from Messi’s Cirque du Soleil”, Kusnetzoff advanced.
“Three years ago I was invited to Cirque du soleil, I traveled spectacularly, it was fantastic. I arrived in Barcelona, slept on the plane and my whole arm was swollen. I was going to meet Stefi Roitman, Nati Jota and I don’t know who else,” she recalled.
And he continued: “I said “that’s weird”, they had He-Man’s arm. So I said ‘something is wrong’. Everyone went to meet, I looked for a nearby hospital. I go and they tell me they will take care of me but I had to wait eight hours”.
Andy then explained that he couldn’t stay eight hours because he had to go see Cirque du Soleil. So he attended the big event and met Messi and his family there.
“With that arm I went to Cirque du Soleil. I arrive, I’m sitting behind Jorge Messi, Celia, Leo, I said goodbye to everyone, everything is spectacular. I saw them, I told them ‘that Jorge, note. Leo, I’m here, note’”, he said.
After seeing the big show, Andy left for the hospital where he was treated.
“I went back to the hospital, they finally take care of me, I was admitted to the hospital because something was wrong with my arm. I was hospitalized alone, without a battery,” he explained.
Then, Andy remembered that with the little battery he had left, he called his partner and asked him to send a friend to bring him a charger for his cell phone as well.
“The question is, do they give me medicine. It’s a drug that’s not good to take because it has its consequences,” she said.
And he continued: “I have to make a master move and I write to Jorge Messi with the photo with the camisolin and I say ‘Jorge, the ticket. I’m here, I’m almost dead, I need the ticket’. He said to me ‘how are you hospitalised?’”.
“Well, Jorge understands, I leave the hospital with this drug and communicates with the press officer who manages the networks, Marcelo. I speak to him and well, the note is produced in Barcelona ”, she specified.
And he elaborated: “Leo comes in and says to me ‘boludo, what happened to your arm?’ It’s a good time. Leo gives me the ticket and I still know that I had to have an operation to fix the problem. It is a bone that has crushed a vein and has generated a thrombosis in an arm”.
“Thrombosis is a messed up thing. I had bad luck, it happened to me, I had to have surgery and walked away with meds. It was October 2019, the pandemic arrived in 2020, I didn’t have surgery. I was stretching it with meds,” she admitted.
“At one point I had to deal with it. I go to Qatar, I come back… and Pandiella tells me, look, I’ll save myself two tickets for the final if that happens. When the time comes, she calls me and says, shall we go?” she said.
Immediately afterwards, the driver opened up about what he has been feeling these days: “And there, on a mystical journey that I have built for myself, that no one has told me, I said “No, I have to pay for this. I don’t have to go to see Messi in the final, I have to pay for it because I got the ticket with Messi, Cirque du Soleil and I’m about to do it’”.
Then, Andy said he finally got surgery: “So I did and I had surgery on Thursday, that’s why I missed out.”
“Everything went well, I had an operation, I paid mine. I’m very happy to have faced it”, he concluded very excited.
