40 years later, Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler was sued for child abuse

The American singer and leader of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, has been sued in a court in Los Angeles, California for child sexual and psychological abuse.

The complainant and alleged victim, Julia Holcomb, has filed a lawsuit in which she recounts this met the artist during a concert of the band in Portland, Oregon, in 1973, when he was 16 years old.as revealed by the magazine rolling stones. In the lawsuit, the alleged victim cited Tyler’s memoir as evidence, in which the singer recounts “I earned the love of his parents who came to give him guardianship of the minor. His parents fell in love with me and they signed the papers to give me custody and not arrest me when I took her out of state and so I took her on tour with me.”

The woman pointed this out Steven Tyler supplied her with alcohol and drugs, as well as sexually assaulted her. Holcomb accuses Tyler of “coercing and persuading” her to believe that the abuse was merely part of a romantic romance and not a history of abuse.

A successful, but toxic band

Steven Tyler had serious addiction problems with alcohol, heroin and cocaine. In the early 1980s, Tyler was heckled at concerts for its use. At several shows, he’s passed out on stage.

Both his manager, Tim Collins, and the rest of the band lobbied the singer enter a rehabilitation programwhat he did and came out clean in 1986.

Then all the other members, including Perry, entered various rehabilitation programs as their use was becoming more and more of a concern for their health and the music business.

His stage performances are historic; his energy and drama on stage are striking in their genuine intensity; These artistic dramatizations caused him several accidents at the concerts which forced him to suspend the shows and to undergo several surgeries, some of which led to painful healings.

In 2009, he had to re-enter a rehabilitation program due to his addiction to the strong painkillers he used to consume due to the pain.

Tyler is an award-winning artist; for example, in 2001 entered the Rock Hall of Famewith Aerosmith and was also part of the talent show judging panel american idol.
