Some time ago Alessandro Fantino He was saying on the nights of ‘Loose Animals’ that the idea of participating in politics is seducing him more and more. However, he doesn’t feel ready yet and has announced that the time is not now: “it’s not in 2023”.
“To help, you need to know. So, it won’t be now. It’s not this, it’s not 2023,” the TV host told Multiverse Fantino this week, the show he hosts on Neura Media, the brand new streaming platform he hosts.
And to make it clear that the moment is not now, he also sent a message to the province where he was born. “I will not go with anyone to the next election in Santa Fe”he underlined, dribbling an immediate approach to any party space.
The message from Fantino – who once fantasized about the possibility of being governor in his native province – seemed to have some recipients: “I’m also saying this so that the young politicians of Santa Fe can sit down, so that they start playing with my name”.
“I don’t belong to anyone, I say it from the bottom of my heart. Don’t put a tunic on me, I don’t want them to start saying that I’m going with Peronism, that I’m going with socialism or that I’m going with Cambiemos, because I’m not going with anyone in the elections that are coming up in Santa Fe,” he stressed at one point in his program .
In mid-December, Fantino declared that next year he will not continue to host “Loose Animals”, the program through which, with some parentheses, he has captained the midnight shows in America and from which he has begun to express his interest in venture into politics. But he never confessed from what game.
“It began to happen to me, at the age of 51, that I wanted to help. I will prepare, I will train, more than I train and prepare now, walking through the province, walking through the interior of the country. I have lived in an aquarium for the past 20 years”. said this Thursday in the program of him.
Although Fantino has distanced himself from any partisan identification, in recent times he has maintained a certain closeness with the deputy of Santa Fe Roberto Mirabella, a possible henchman of the governor Omar Perotti in the next elections.
The deputy of the Frente de Todos, who has already announced that he will seek the candidacy for governor of Santa Fe to succeed Perotti, was invited to the entertainer’s wedding with Coni Mosqueira. And later he was interviewed by Fantino in “Animali sciolti”.
At one point, from the ranks of the deputy, it was leaked that the former football speaker could accompany Mirabella to tour the province. The clarification that Fantino has now made leaves doubts about that possibility.
For now, the next few months will find Fantino on vacation, taking a break after a busy year and deciding what his next steps will be. In the media and in politics.
