The actor and musician Jeremy Renner suffered a very serious domestic accident that almost cost him his life, when the snowplow he was operating hit him, causing multiple fractures and chest injuries. In a message posted on his social networks this Saturday, he assured that his routine and his intentions this year have completely changed after what happened.

“The morning workouts, the resolutions, everything changed on this particular New Year’s Eve”Renner started posting on his Instagram account, along with a photograph of him on a stretcher doing rehab.

“Spawned by tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused on the union of actionable love. I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and consideration for my family. and for me. Much love and appreciation to you all,” the actor added.

A 52-year-old firefighter and volunteer with a passion for off-roading, the actor suffered an accident with a snowplow on January 1 at his home in Reno, Nevada, United States.

The episode left him in critical condition: He had to be rushed by helicopter following a neighbor’s rescue action doctor who applied a tourniquet to the leg where the protagonist of the Marvel saga was bleeding. He then underwent two surgeries which were encouraging.

As he told Instagram today, Renner broke more than 30 bones as the car ran over him.

“These more than 30 broken bones will mend, will be strengthened, as the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all,” concluded the actor in his message.

Renner helps a stranded motorist when he was injured with his own snowplow in the mountains outside Reno, Nevada, according to the city’s mayor.

Hillary Schieve, the governor of the Nevada city, said the star tried to help a car stuck in front of his houselocated on the side of a snowy mountain.

The mayor is a friend of the actor and was informed of the incident shortly after it occurred Sunday morning near the Mt. Rose Highway, which connects Reno to Lake Tahoe.

“Always help others,” the mayor recalledon the well-known role of Renner, awarded for his contributions to the construction of the local fire station and for his participation in rescue operations.

The actor’s Instagram post came after versions of his health were published in the US media. A source close to the actor told Radar Online his condition is worse than has been publicly disclosed, according to the New York Post.

“It’s much worse than anyone knows,” the source said. “JEremy is well aware that she nearly died out there.”

According to the site TMZ, which scored a record 911 (Emergencies), the actor was suffering from “extreme difficulty” breathing and was bleeding profusely from his head. The right side of his chest collapsed when his upper torso was crushed by the vehicle.

Another source commented that it could take Renner up to two years to fully recover. “It is said that the damage to Jeremy’s chest was so considerable that It had to be reconstructed with surgery.”a source told Radar Online.

“So far, he has had two surgeries and will likely need more in the coming weeks on his leg,” the source said. “Doctors tend to space out operations to allow time for the body’s natural healing process to begin, and that’s the case here,” reveals the New York Post.
