With less than two weeks to go until the ceremony where the British music industry awards last season’s figures, the nominations for the Brit Awards were recently announced. And the big winner, at least in this case, is Harry Styles, thanks to the success of his album Harry’s house and their singles.

The former One Direction appears in the four main categories and with serious chances of winning: Best Artist, Best Pop/RnB Artist, Best Song and Best Album of the Year.

As rivals he will have, in the different categories, musicians like him Lewis Capaldi, George Ezra, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.

Mashed potato there are sections dedicated to non-British artistswhere heavyweights such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lizzo appear, although Blackpink’s k-pop appears as a favorite.

A special fact of this edition is that changed all categories to make it as inclusive and diverse as possible. This is how all elements of gender identity disappeared and were replaced by musical genres.

In addition, for this year there will be another novelty: for the first time in the history of British industry, Britons will be distributed on a Saturday. It will be at the O2 Arena in London on February 11th.

As for performances, only two acts are known: Sam Smith with Kim Petras and Wet Leg. Y Mo Gilligan will once again host the ceremony.
