A situation of great emotion was experienced yesterday, Tuesday, on Big Brother (Telefe, at 10.15 pm), the reality show hosted by Santiago Del Moro. It was when Nacho was visited by his grandmother Teresa and after the hugs, she told him that someone else had gone home with her: it was Jesús, the former partner of his father Rodolfo, whom the participant considers “my second dad”. Nacho hugged him and couldn’t stop crying.
Before Nacho was summoned to SUM, Del Moro spoke with Jesús, who was waiting for him there, along with Teresa, nicknamed Tesi. The driver and the man who was Nacho’s father’s partner decided it was better for him to hide and for Tesi to reveal the surprise to his nephew. So, Jesus hid inside a broomstick.
The driver wanted to know what Jesús’ first meeting with Nacho had been like, when the Big Brother he was a little boy and his father separated from his mother because he fell in love with him.
“For me, meeting Nacho was totally new, because there were no children in my family,” Jesús explained. I decided that with him there would be equal treatment. I didn’t treat him like a child but like a person“.
Speaking of how to explain to a child what his role in the family was, bearing in mind that this happened in 2003, when society still had many prejudices against same-sex couples, Jesús explained:
“They told him to treat me like an uncle, but he already had some amazing uncles. That’s why I told him I was his best friend. He was 5 years old and he told me he already had so many friends, but that I was different. So, he told me that i suggested to him that i was “his only friend” and that’s how the MOA extensionmy only friend, the nickname by which he began to call me”.
When Nacho entered SUM and met his grandmother Teresa, the mother of his mother who passed away 9 months ago, it was all hugs and tears of emotion. “I am with you to give you everything you need. I’m proud of you,” Tesi said to his nephew.
“I miss you a lot,” replied Nacho, who has been living with her since her mother died, after asking her forgiveness for leaving her alone to go to Big Brother.
Jesús, to Nacho: “I don’t do it for anyone, I only do it for you”
“I have a surprise for you,” Tesi revealed. Immediately Jesus came out of hiding and Nacho was perplexed. “I can’t believe it!” he exclaimed when she saw her “second dad,” and burst into tears.
“I’ve been going around to see you since November,” Jesús confided. And he added: “I don’t do it for anyone, I only do it for you.” Then he told him: “I was in Madrid when they called me. I had to travel to Miami and from there, come here. I haven’t slept in three days, but I’m here for you.”
“It’s crazy, I didn’t expect it!” Nacho continued to express his astonishment and his joy at Jesús’ unexpected visit.
Nacho: “I thought my grandmother would come in, but not my father”
When Santiago Del Moro connected to the house to speak with Nacho and his relatives, the participant, still moved by the surprise, explained: “I figured my grandmother would come in, but not my father.”
“Do you call Jesus ‘dad’?” the driver asked. “Yes, the nickname is MUA, my only friend, but I also call him dad. When once, from here, I sent greetings to MUA, for her birthday, they were for him,” Nacho replied.
Santiago wanted to know how Tesi was coping with a pain as great as the death of his daughter, Nacho’s mother. “I’m a typical Ariana and I have very important people, like my other son and my other grandson,” she explained to him. For Nacho, I have unconditional love and would do things that I don’t do for anyone“.
Proudly, he said: “My two nephews are good people, companions, supportive. They have a great capacity for resilience. Nacho has made a great effort.”
“You have to set yourself a goal and fight to achieve it, always with respect for the other. This is proof that Nacho can take on any challenge in his lifeJesus added.
