The jury in the defamation case brought by Johnny Depp against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, was heard today, Monday, audio recordings in which the actor identifies the violence that may have arisen if their arguments multiply.
“The next step, if I don’t leave … it will be a bloodbath, like it was on the island.”Depp said on the recording.
Last week, the actor said Heard threw a bottle at him in a fight in Australia in 2015, cutting off his fingerand that he began write on the wall with one’s own blood to tell the lies with which he had trapped her.

In other audio clips heard today, Depp screams loudly of obscenities his wife, calling him a catchy name and saying, “Stupid (expletive)!”
Johnny Depp winced as the recordings played, while Heard seemed to hold back tears..
Depp sued Heard for defamation for a piece of opinion in 2018 he wrote in The Washington Post in which he referred to himself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”
The end of Depp’s interrogation
The audio files were part of a grueling cross-examination of Depp that ended Monday morning when he stood for a fourth day to testify to his allegations that Heard falsely described him as a domestic abuser.
Heard’s attorneys continued their questioning during the cross-examination, which focused on Depp’s drug and alcohol use and his explosive interactions with Heard during their relationship.
In testimony on Monday, Depp said very little. Most inquiry consists of Heard’s lawyer played audio clips or read vulgar text messages sent by Depp and asked the actor if he had read it correctly.
Throughout the interrogation, Depp expressed his dissatisfaction with the questions of Heard’s attorney Benjamin Rottenborn. When Rottenborn’s response was interrupted, Depp said: “I’m talking.” When Rottenborn said he considered the question completely answered, Depp replied: “You’re just happy.”

Depp also expressed his disapproval when Rottenborn read the headlines of a series of negative articles written about the actor, some of which are from 2014. “It’s all fake news. It’s rubbish,” Depp said..
Rottenborn submitted articles to try to show that the 2018 Post at the heart of the case was not the one that damaged his reputation, but rather a long history of bad behavior.
While the libel suit should focus on whether Depp was defamed in the article, much of the litigation focused on the ugly details of the couple’s brief marriage.
Depp denies hurting Heard, while Heard’s lawyers argue that Depp physically and sexually abused him. and his denials were of no merit because he was often drunk and drugged until he could not remember what he was doing.

Depp last testified on Thursday. Heard’s lawyers cite his history as a hotel room breaker, as well as an occasion when he broke the lamp in the bathroom while arguing with Heard. Depp is also facing a case filed by a member of the production team that the actor allegedly assaulted him in 2018.
A Hollywood outcast
The jury saw dozens of text messages from Depp to his friends about his drinking and drug use and his interactions with his wife back then, as well as his regrettable notes to Heard and to his father.
Depp said Heard’s accusations and articles contributed to unfair damage to his reputation, which made him a Hollywood outcast and he paid for his role in the profitable franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Heard’s lawyers said the damage to Depp’s reputation was the result of his own misconduct.
Depp will testify in Fairfax County Circuit Court from Tuesday afternoon. The actor said Heard abused the drug and he was the one who physically assaulted him.
