In summary, “Ticketmaster returned a total amount of 18.15 million pesos, of which 3.62 million pesos (about 196,000 dollars) correspond to the compensation provided by the Federal Consumer Protection Act.”

The box office reported at the time that “there were a large number of tickets that had not been purchased through official channels and legitimate multiple-printed tickets (…) with which the event was intended to be entered.”

Due to these events, the company reported that it had filed two complaints with the relevant authorities and stated that “failures have occurred in its scanning equipment due to the high concentration of mobile devices (…) which have prevented the correct reading valid tickets”.
