Late last year, the group announced a world tour with its flagship lineup, confirming dates in North America and Europe to showcase new songs, as well as celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Rumors about the South American leg of the tour have not stopped growing since November last year, when a video of the band’s drummer, Chad Smith, went viral, assuring an Argentinean fan they would play the country again in 2023.
The dates announced in early March in Brazil have rekindled the dream that today becomes reality.
we went to visit

The show in River promises to be an opportunity to meet again with the Red Hots and be part of the crossroads between the adrenaline of their premieres and the obligatory passage through the classics, linked to the memories of the different phases of the life of their thousands of fans .
Distant…
The core of the band formed at Fairfax High School as Anthym with Chilean Alain Johannes as vocalist. Anthony Kiedis, who had made a career as a teenage television actor under the moniker Cole Dammett, hosted it.
In February 1983, Anthony was asked by his friend Gary Allen of the band Neighbor’s Voices to open for him with his friends.9 Primarily influenced by the New York bands Defunkt10 and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five,9 they put together a band for the occasion under the name of “Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem”.
The band’s live performance was so good that they were asked to come back the following week. Due to this unexpected success, the band members changed their name to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, as they found the original name a little embarrassing.
They then continued to play various concerts in Los Angeles clubs and cabarets such as the Kit Kat Club. It is in these first moments that they begin to become popular for their performances in which they appeared completely naked, with only a sock on his genitals. Six of the songs they played at those shows were recorded on their first demo.
