The comment went viral and the journalist received multiple criticisms. Many of her have even accused her of racism, as in the case of Anamá Ferreira.
“Is this tweeter serious? Is it Laura Ubfal’s? She really turned me on. In Brazil or any other country, I would already be in jail or pay a $950,000 fine like broker Nelson Piquet. ‘A PERFECT WHITE SOCIETY’ must act urgently @inadi you are a racist @laubfal” (SIC)”said Anamá, who requested the intervention of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI).
“Honestly, it saddens me when a reporter says that a white society is perfect. We talk about racism because there were no men with dark hair in the final. My God, how angry I am, a judge already has to act ex officio,” added the former Brazilian model on her Twitter account.
“How infinitely sad how much racism, how much discrimination against minorities”Anamá added in another post on the social network, where he received many supportive comments for his statements.

This forced Ubfal to clarify. In intruders (America, Monday to Friday at 1.30pm), the reporter issued a statement.
