It has been confirmed that rapper Coolio died not of a heart attack but of an overdose of fentanyl and heroin

American rapper, producer and actor cooliomainly recognized for its 90s success Gangsters paradise and who was found dead in a Los Angeles home at the age of 59 last September, died of a fentanyl overdoseadded to other factors, as revealed by his manager to the international press.

The forensic report determined that the rapper died of a fentanyl overdose. Also, as detailed by Jarel Posey, who was the artist’s manager and current family spokesman, in the body they found traces of heroin and methamphetamines.

According to Posey, they were informed that Coolio’s asthma problems and his history as a cigarette smoker were additional factors in his death.

That hit is considered one of the most successful rap songs of all time.after spending three weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. That song even allowed him to become the first rap artist to lead the UK charts.

Over the next few years, Coolio continued to reap successes, including creating Aw, there it is! which was used for the opening of the series kenan & kelof Nickelodeon.

He also became a television celebrity with appearances on the celebrity edition of Big Brother and in cooking reality shows, another of his great passions, so much so that he published a book with his own recipes.

In addition, Coolio has had several participations as an actor in films for cinema and television, such as the case of Sabrina the teenage witch, the nanny AND batman and robin from 1997, among many others; and put the voice in animated series such as Gravity falls AND futurema.
