Eruca Sativa closed with all his 15-year career celebrations: a full Colosseum and with León Gieco

When it’s time to celebrate yours 15-year career, the trio Erica Sativa putting together an impressive program: a cover album (dopelganga), a recital at the Obras stadium, a national tour and a final at the Teatro Coliseo.

To this must be added the September edition of the album We’ll be spring live at La Ballena Azul, now nominated for three Gardel awards.

The recital in Colosseum Theater It had a “sold out” sign and the room was filled with fans who celebrated each of the songs and marveled at the unexpected presence of León Gieco, who sang three songs. In addition, vocal trio Miau Trío and a wind trio were added.

The result was strong: Lula Bertoldi, Brenda Martin and Gabriel Pedernera showed all their rock arsenal with lots of funk, progressive tunes and a unique and distinctive style which has stood out on the local scene for fifteen years.

The boot had a strong emphasis on the striking dopelgangawith a furiously funk version of only in bars (From Man Ray), very rocker fallacious bolero (From velvety) AND Hopefully (From Silvio Rodríguez). The welcome was with a “Good evening! What a joy to be in this beautiful theater for the first time”.

In the midst of that list they also played the percussive Por quien Venirán, the famous chorus of cold concrete (from their debut album)Japan (with a verse sung by Gaby), the Zeppelinist only at the start (From mud and fauna2016) and the rhythm of the chacarera by My song (from the second CD).

A show like that left the audience breathless, but so much more was missing, from Shell with exquisite arrangement by Meow Trio, A life, The time of Much, Before I fall again AND urgent songwith Brenda alone at the beginning.

Gieco’s appearance

As Lula admitted, “We are indulging in great pleasure tonight. Thank you for these 15 years of love!” Later, when she introduced León Gieco as a special guest, people gave him an ovation and he said, “It’s an honor, it’s one of my favorite bands.”

The final stretch doubled the bet again thanks to a version of sorochi with Miau Trío and a wind trio that remained The balcony AND Magician.
