The health of Mirtha Legrand: the operation has begun

Surgery has begun on Mirtha Legrand (96) at the Mater Dei Sanatorium. The television diva undergoes an operation through which she will be implanted with a “latest generation” pacemaker, as she assured her upon entering the clinic.

Nacho Avenue AND Marcela Tinayre, granddaughter and mother of the driver, are at Mater Dei accompanying the driver. “Don’t let us scare you. It’s something quick and simple,” Tinayre assured the press, “Thanks for always being there and thanks to all those who are writing to us,” she added.

The operation should take 60 minutes. Then, Mirtha will be under observation for 24 hours.

The operation was announced by Mirtha herself on her social networks. In a statement, the diva said: “I want to tell you that in order to continue to be as active as I like, and because I always bet on life, I have decided to install a state-of-the-art pacemaker.”

“Which regulates my heart rate properly, something I’ve been talking about since I placed the stents a while ago. I have made the decision together with my family and my medical team, it will be an outpatient surgery next week,” he said in the text.

“I ask you for peace of mind and not to confuse my professional problems, which have nothing to do with this decision. I keep betting on life”Mirtha concluded in her statement last week.
