The “Invocaverso”, a franchise started in 2013, with “The Invocation of Evil”, will gain another chapter: “The Nun 2”.
The sequel to the 2018 film has been made official by Warner Bros. on Tuesday night (26) at CinemaCon.
The “Nun 2” logo appeared alongside that of the studio’s upcoming releases, confirming the film that the film will be the next chapter in the horror saga since 2021’s The Conjuring 3: The Devil’s Order.
“The Nun 2” does not yet have a release date or any names involved in the production.
Released in 2018, “The Nun” took in $365 million at the worldwide box office. The film directed by Corin Hardy was inspired by the character Valak (Bonnie Aarons), who first appeared in 2016’s The Conjuring 2.
