“First of all, sorry for the voice, it’s the one I got after having the pipe down my throat for 14 hours”, he hoarsely anticipated as soon as he appeared on the air. “I’m a ghost, yes. I’ve almost become one,” he added after his partner, Mauro Federico, defined him with those words.
“I went to say hi because I miss you and I know what you’ve been through badly, it all came from me,” he explained to them about the surprise appearance he made on the radio. And she claimed that those who lived two weeks ago “They have been very distressing hours.”
“A situation went through me that I’m still trying to piece together. An extreme situation that no one thinks is going to happen and that touched me and absolutely went through my body first and then my head, my head broke into a thousand pieces. Nobody is willing to die. And that was literally what happened to me“, held.
In this sense, Rial whitewashed a rumor that had been circulating in recent days: that he had been dead for ten minutes. “In my medical file, which they then made me read, it says sudden death. I was more or less ten minutes (dead). They spent ten minutes trying to revive me, they gave me three electric shocks and they literally beat me bloody. In fact, my ribcage hurts a lot,” she explained.
“Omar is the name of the nurse who stood on top of me and refused to let me go. The truth is that I still haven’t accepted it. I tell it and it seems that he is telling someone else’s story, not mine. It was really terrible. I’m discovering little things,” he added, visibly moved.
Then, after thanking him for the treatment he received at the Clínica del Country de Colombia, in Bogotá, he began to tell the details of the episode.
How was the heart attack that Jorge Rial suffered in Colombia minute by minute
“I woke up with severe pain in my chest at 8:30 in the morning and at half an hour I decided to call my medical coverage and quickly go to the sanatorium“, Jorge Rial began to tell the moment he realized he was suffering from a heart problem.
“I’m very stubborn, but I don’t care much I felt something was wrong. Luckily I arrived, they took care of me, they took me quickly to do some initial tests that amazingly the electrocardiogram was good“, he added in front of the watchful eye of his companions.
Then, the journalist explained that he had told María del Mar Ramón, the woman with whom he had gone to Bogotá, that they should wait for the “enzyme” result before leaving. “Actually, 20 minutes later a doctor arrived. He looks at me and says ‘I have bad news: he’s having a heart attack, we’re going to have to put a stent on him.'”
Faced with this news, Rial assured that he was not scared and even asked to please let him go to the bathroom. “I went to the bathroom by myself, the nurse came and said, ‘What are you doing? Are you crazy? You’re having a heart attack!'”he remembered.

“They are doing electro, as a routine, and there I went. There they tell me that my eyes rolled back and I began to drown, I don’t remember anything after that,” he said of the moment he was on his deathbed.
“Things happened in between, but it’s not something to tell now because it’s something I’m working on. Then they kept me sedated for fourteen hours, asleep. It wasn’t exactly an induced coma, it was heavily sedated. I am very big and it shows that I have fought a lot,” she added.
As for the specific diagnosis, Rial explained that he had “cardiac arrest with sudden death”. “Technically that’s what it’s called,” she said. And he claimed: “I came to and came back about fourteen hours later. It was very painful, because that sedation leaves your head cool. he tried to get me out of the tube and out of questions. Everyone wondered everything. If he did cocaine, if he did something, because it was weird.”
Furthermore, the reporter explained that he tried to move his hand to show them that he was alive, but could not. “I sent orders to my right hand to touch the nurse. they stick to my eyes, they took off the cloth, I open my eyes and looked into the eyes of the nurse, as if to say “I’m here, motherfucker, I’m here, don’t bury me,” he recalled.
